Every RR01 Has a VIN Plate and Comes With an MSO

Mantas Lukosaitis

Each completed RR01 leaves our workshop with a VIN plate and a Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin, or MSO.
This is part of how the car is built, recorded, and delivered. The RR01 is not documented as a loose collection of components. It is built as one complete vehicle, identified as that specific car, and handed over with manufacturer-issued origin documentation.

A defined identity for each build

Every RR01 receives a VIN plate assigned to that exact build. That VIN is tied to the car’s production record and identifies it as an individual vehicle. It connects the finished RR01 to its build specification, build’s direction, and handover documentation. Each car is tracked as its own unit from production through delivery.
For the owner, that means the car has a defined vehicle identity. For Rhino Automotive, it means each RR01 leaves production as a completed and documented machine.

The MSO is issued for that specific RR01

Along with the VIN plate, Rhino Automotive issues a Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin for each completed RR01. The MSO identifies the origin of the vehicle and confirms Rhino Automotive as the manufacturer of that car. It is issued as part of the documentation package for the completed build and belongs to that specific RR01.
This is not a generic document prepared separately from the vehicle itself. It is tied to the actual car that was combined, finished, and shipped from our workshop.

Part of the car, not separate from it

The RR01 is designed and assembled in Kaunas, Lithuania. The platform is built around a T6 aluminium monocoque, carbon-fibre body components, a mid-engine layout, and a driver-focused interior assembled in-house. Every completed RR01 is documented the same way it is engineered: as a complete system.
The VIN plate and MSO are part of that finished result. They sit alongside the physical build, not outside it. The same car that is prepared, inspected, and prepared for delivery is also the car that receives its own VIN identification and manufacturer-origin document.

Built in-house, documented in-house

Rhino Automotive operates with engineering, component preparation, and validation kept close to the hardware. The same team working on the car is also responsible for the final vehicle that leaves production.
That matters because the documentation is connected directly to the real build. It belongs to a RR01 that has been prepared in-house, configured as a complete component package, and prepared for handover from our facility in Kaunas.
Each RR01 therefore leaves with more than a technical specification. It leaves with a defined identity, a VIN plate assigned to that vehicle, and an MSO issued by Rhino Automotive.
